End of the year...

Well, one do see the end of the year coming fast and it's time to have a moment of reflections. 2012 was a good year for me. I started to get better from my deep depression, things started to be handleable again.

I moved to Trollhättan, sold my old apartment in Stockholm, managed to clear all my financial problems. Terminated my company, started to gain some weight again. All good things.

For the moment the situation is under control and I do feel air below the wings again. Have a new, inspiring job at much more stable circumstances than I'm used to. Seems like vacation and stuff that people are used to maybe even can happen to me :)

One the life side; the focus has been on music. 2012 was a really successful year in that sense. I did my first live-gig in 15years and it went out very well. Fun to see people having fun and dance to the music. I also managed to put 8 tracks on Spotify and Itunes. Ok, I can't say I'm very satisfied with the songs but I'm satisfied that I, in the state I was in, managed to do anything at all.

The bad side is still low energy levels and zero sex drive. I do not see them as a big problem, but it certainly effects the social live. No energy and no drive to be social is not a good thing. But... more music that way ;)

Stay tuned for hopefully more photos next year; I still have 17 Hasseblad-rolls that need to be developed. Else nothing much on the photo-stage for the moment. Maybe I will buy a used Nikon D3 in the first months next year.

N-Stein - Corpus

Ahh, Sweet. I managed to upload my new version of Corpus with the first vocal tracks. They are far from finished and the song is not done in a long way. But it's delivered "as is" to get a spot in the albumlist.

Stole a new picture to us as a cover... stay tuned for more versions :)

And a really old (2months), instrumental version of Corpus. Will not publish the finished one until the Itunes-version is live.

Two new tracks...

With the KräftWerk album delivered and Release-date set to the 27th of October; the focus is now set on Let It Be Synth 2. I'm working on two tracks, Corpus and Sweat and the songs are moving along. The only problem is the vocal tracks but I will try to record them this weekend.

I have set a new manifesto - No more SoftWare Synths! I will try to cement the setup now and focus to learn the one I got and focus on the song writing and guitar instead. I planning to buy a new pair of Monitors as quick as I can afford them but else I will let the studio rest for a while. I bought a new MIDI patcher today just to be able to play modules without use of the computer. As the time goes by the idea is to add more hardware to the studio (Prophet 8, MS 20 as first in line).

The KräftWerk album is taking form...

Just two weeks left until the deadline for the KräftWerk album. We have a new participant from Göteborg that I'm very happy to have on the boat now when Petter left walk over. I don't believe we got more than 10-12 tracks but it will have to do.

I have mastered my first track under the Act Mr Marakech - I will not use my N-Stein psedunume for this release as it's more techno :)

Bläck-på-papper

Så, idag skedde det tillslut - bläckpåpapper. Jag är ibland en neggig jävel som inte kan ta ut glädje i förskott. Det handlar nog mest om att inte utsätta sig för starka besvikelser.. igen. Men då blir det nästan dubbelt kul när riktigt roliga ting händer :)

De som känner mig vet att jag kört egen firma sen 2006 med de framgångar och motgångar det brukar innebära. Eftersom jag satt som konsult på Kaupting Bank när de smällde i slutet av 2008 har det tyvärr varit mest motgångar - tyvärr både på jobbfronten och den privata fronten. För att göra en lång historia kort, gick det käpprätt åt pipan. Resultatet blev att flytta ner till föräldrarna med svansen mellan benen, mediciner, kuratorer, psykologer. På grund av goda vänner (ni vet vilka ni är) har saker och ting sakta gått åt rätt håll. För ett par månader sedan fick jag friskhetssignal av min kurator och vågade därför ta steget att gå vidare med ett jobberbjudande som landat i mitt knä. Det ena har lett till det andra och idag skrev jag på kontraktet :) Så nu är jag fastanställd projektledare igen, samma roll jag slutade med 2006 fast i helt ny bransch, ny stad, nya arbetskompisar så känns väldigt spännande och roligt. Full av spänning och tillförsikt laddar jag för ett helt nytt jobb.

Jag medicinerar fortfarande och kommer eventuellt alltid få göra det.. tyvärr har medicinerna (samt kanske lite kvarvarande sjukdom) lite effekter på kroppen som bl.a gör man inte är så social. Föredrar att hänga med mina gamla vänner och inte träffa så mycket nytt folk. Men det går att leva med. Hoppas med tiden bli helt återställd.

Det blev ett väldigt privat och utlämnade inlägg... isynnerhet för att vara mig. Men med tanke på hur få som läser min lilla blog tror jag det är tryggt med er :)

First Notice - KräftWerk

Remember where you read it first! 

The songs for our new Concept Album KRÄFTWERK is starting to arrive. There are some more weeks until the formal deadline but with much to do it's good to be an early deliverer! The focus of the album is "Club" - but with no hard guidelines. It's up to every act to deliver what they think is Club. It's very funny to get the first final tracks and I find the quality very high. It will be a great album.
